TRIBUTE TO STEPHEN

Since my sister Eldrid and Stephen married in 1963, he has been a highly valued member of our small Norwegian family, giving us a lot of fond memories.
My wife Inger and I will remember him for his kindness in taking us on trips, sharing his great knowledge of English history, buildings (especially churches and cathedrals) and matters related to economy, with us.
Stephen was a knowledgeable and competent person, with a sunny disposition, always ready for a joke, a laugh or sharing a story. Up to the last he showed interest in his Norwegian family, taking pleasure from learning that even the youngest members of the family now had been introduced to mountain trips at Hardangervidden, and loved it!
Stephens own love of nature was clear for all to see, it was one of many interests he shared with us in Norway.
We will remember Stephen with love, as a person who contributed much pleasure to our lives.
We will miss you, Stephen!
